Writer's Block: Musically inclined

I started playing the cello in the fourth grade, I think I was 8 or 9 years old.. something like that.
So I've played for more than twenty years, off and on more on when I was younger but I still have a cello that I take out once in a while. I started in school back when they still had music in schools and had private lessons for six years or so until HS. I remember hating that she always made me play Bach.. i hated Bach almost as much as I hated the Canon in D.
In addition I played in a local youth orchestra and in college started playing with community theater groups and churches at Christmas.
The last few years I only play when I'm feeling all weird and pull it out of the closet and dig up some Bach. Yes Bach... I've grown to appreciate it.
