6 am - Alarm goes off. Hit snooze button. Thought process: It's Saturday, why the hell is my alarm going off? Oh. Yeah. Fuck.

6:15 am - Alarm goes off. Get out of bed and into shower. Thought process: Jeez it's cold in here.

6:45 am - Dry hair while wearing a tank top and undies. Still cold. Drink a glass of orange juice. Thought process: Probably shouldn't have brushed my teeth first.

7 am - Eat bowl of Cheerios with orange juice, no dairy before exams.

7:30 am - Get cash at ATM, and coffee at Starbucks. Mmmmm caffeine. Thought process: It's seven thirty, why are all these people awake?

8 am - Pay for parking, park, call Mom and say good morning. Listen to pep talk. Drink coffee.

8:15 am - Lug milk crate full of exam materials to exam room, 1/4 mile or so away. Use the restroom and wait for the doors to open. Eavesdrop on the people talking about the exam the day before. Thought process: So glad I already passed that one.

8:30 am - Get seated, fill in name, date and other information in test booklet and wait.

9:15 am - Begin Seismic Exam. Note: They stopped putting the point values on the problems, lame of them. Thought process: Holy Hannah.

10:50 am - Get the shakes at halfway mark. Give self a talking to, resume the exam.

11:45 am - Pencils down. Thought process: OMG I FINISHED IT! Note: Last time I was at the halfway point with ten minutes to go.

12:15 pm - Sit in car. Eat lunch. Read Backup by Jim Butcher and start reading Reconstructing Aphra by Angeline Goreau. Blame Tracey for the fact that you're reading a reconstructed history of the woman whose quote you got in the femgenficathon.

1:00 pm - Walk back to exam room. Chat with lady who was in the class you took for the 8 hour last year, finish coffee, go to the restroom.

1:30 pm - Get seated, fill in name, date and other information in test booklet and wait.

2:00 pm - Begin Surveying Exam. Note: Still not point values. Still lame. Thought proces: One down, one to go.

3:25 pm - Look at watch, freak out because you aren't halfway done. Get restroom pass and go to the rest room. Have some water. Return to exam calmer.

4:30 pm - Pencils down. Thought process: TGIO - Thank God It's Over. Note: I finished this one too. Fifty problems in 2.5 hours - it's harder than it sounds.

4:45 pm - In car driving to bookstore. Call parents.

5 pm - Purchase celebratory romance novel written by a friend, and copy of Band of Brothers to reread.

5:15 pm - Purchase Orange Chicken Panda Bowl with steamed rice and spring rolls.

5:40 pm - Purchase cupcakes from the cupcake place and coffee from Starbucks.

6 pm - Arrive home. Relax.
