1. Reply to this post (putting up your hand), and I will pick six of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.

[livejournal.com profile] shiplizard asked me about these:

1. Crackers

I am one. No not in the pejorative way, tho... I saw this icon and it was like I'd found my icon doppelganger. It's my default as I feel kinship with the cracker.

Be one with the saltine.

2. Infinite

Infinite: having no limits or boundaries in time or space or extent or magnitude.

I have a lot of limitations, most of them set by myself, on myself - this is for those moments when I refuse to let them matter.

3. Novels

A book saved my sanity. Before that day, I thought of books as entertainment, they were fun - I liked them, I read constantly. For the stories, never for the lessons. But they all have lessons, and if you read carefully they all have truths.

4. Teddy

You ever see something and it makes you smile. And then every time you see it, no matter how many times you see it - it makes you smile. A lot of my icons are like that. But this one sort of.. embodies it.

Look at his little teddy bear face - that is teddy bear joy.

Used for happy, light hearted things.

5. Girl on a Wire

This is actually a photomanip of something I cannot remember what, like a picture of a person and butterfly wing. My original LJ name was Girl on a Wire, from a song lyric:

Oh like a bird on the wire,
like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free.

It's for... and about.. trying in my way to be free.
